Jason Mirch joined Image Nation in 2009 as Creative Executive, heading up the content division for Image Nation’s joint venture with Hyde Park Entertainment.
Prior to joining Image Nation, Mirch worked as the co-head of feature and television sevelopment at Storyline Entertainment, whose credits include The Bucket List and the Academy Award winning film, Chicago. There, he is developed a slate of over 50 projects, including Footloose (Paramount). On the television side, Mirch was instrumental in developing pilots for CBS, Fox, and NBC, as well as several movies and mini-series for cable networks.
Mohammad Hassan Ahmed is one of the UAE’s most acclaimed screenwriters, with credits that include the feature film Sea Shadow (2011), which recently played at the Berlin International Film Festival.
His body of work has represented the UAE in festivals globally and won 28 prize around the world, most notably in Rotterdam, Italy, France San Francisco, Morrocco, Russia, and Jordan. In 2011, he won the best screenwriter award at the Gulf Film Festival for the fourth time.
He has led several screenwriting workshops aroudn the region. A collection of his screenplays accompanied by DVDs of the films was recently released in Arabic. He was born in Ras Al Khaimah.
Mohammad Khawaja currently serves as film programmer and coordinator for the SANAD Development and Post-Production Fund at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival.
He was born and raised in the emirate of Abu Dhabi and is an alumni of the American Community School of Abu Dhabi, the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma and the MAISHA Film Lab in Kampala, Uganda. His primary work is directing and writing films with a focus on film preservation and restoration.
